I’M Cristina Enriquez

I am Italian, from Padova. I am a Teacher, Counselor and a Humanitarian by dedication; I am an ARTIST by passion.

I like to play with light and color. My current country of residence is the U.S.A. where I live with my incredible (Mexican) husband and family.

Imagination is one of our most precious assets…Mine is vivid, three-dimensional, comic, elastic and colorful. It has helped me in the process of creating on a canvas as well as in shaping my life, devise a better present and build a fantastic future.

Dreaming is something that comes natural to me…There’s nothing wrong with fantasizing… as long as you do not do it while you are driving!

I like to make people happy, make them laugh and inject positive thoughts in their lives.

My sources of inspiration come from my daily life, something I see on the street while driving, people I meet or work with… I work mainly with acrylic and resin but I experiment with wood, oils, watercolors and gouache. The medium I choose really depends on my mood, what I feel and what I would like to communicate. Sometimes color just “talks” to me and I let it take me places…

I go through different phases which go from from vivid colors to more subtle ones and from abstract shapes to flowers and… furniture!

I know I probably should stick to one and I promise one day I will.

Stay tuned.
